Matt Frandell talked about his studies on the European Continent.

He had the amazing opportunity to study Sustainability and learn from a multi-site program in Europe. Sustainability allows us to live within the limits of our planet’s resources, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. This means being, efficient, less wasteful, healthier, and most importantly, having precognition & awareness of future events. It is important to have a circular economy restoring natural resources for future use.

There are seven types of Sustainability
  • Forestry
  • Agricultural
  • Construction
  • Zero Waste
  • Water Management
  • Lighting
  • Renewable Energy
His education occurred in Italy and Spain. In the Chianti region, he received hands-on experience with wine tasting on sustainable farms, growing ancient grains, and creating olive oil according to long-lasting traditions.  Tuscany provided him with experience in the production of wine and olive oil, local food entrepreneurship and the regions embracing sustainable agriculture. Local farms brought produce and goods to regional food markets in Barcelona so it was fresher than well-travelled items. Spanish olives were prepared with long-established methods preserve the environment. While in Europe, he had the opportunity to visit  Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark and France.

In the end, Matt Frandell answered multiple questions about the differences between our American food sources vs. the more natural food available in Europe.
