Rotarians support the Regency Assisted Living Mother’s Day Parade.

Rotarians decorate their cars to join the parade for mothers and grandmothers at the Regency Assisted Living Facility.  Since there couldn’t be the usual luncheon, a parade is the next best thing. Residents sat six-feet apart due to COVID-19 and enjoy the decorated vans, trucks and automobiles.

Regency personnel, who festooned the building with balloons, direct cars using signs to rotate the family and Rotarians parading around the building.

Rotarian Morgan Cadmus, who is the Regency Executive Director, controls the traffic.

Rotarian Don Weeks chauffeurs his wife, Jen Weeks, in their flower-decked Camry.

Rotarian Edith Samouillet enjoys driving her car, decorated in Mother’s Day signs with a beautiful rose.

Audrey, Rotarian Sandy Maruca's mom, waves to the crowd. Audrey once worked as the Fallbrook Village Rotary bookkeeper.

One parade car sported many balloons, streamers and home-made flowers. It was amazing!

Some families posted signs on their car doors to say, “Happy Mother’s Day.” Rotarian Don Weeks put his flower-covered “Mom’s Day” sign on the roof for the second-floor residents' view.

All the residents, Moms and Grandmas, enjoyed the site of all the decorated cars, flatbeds and even a fire truck. It was certainly a fun and happy day. Rotary was glad to be a part of it.
