Blaine & Bonnie Vice join our club meeting to discuss Hope House.

Vice Blain talked about how young women come to the Hope Clinic in a tough situation - pregnant and homeless. The Hope Clinic turns down housing for clients every two to three months. Add that to the homeless clients from other North County Clinics and the numbers continue to grow. To help with this situation, he and Bonnie created a nonprofit to assist these women. They leased a large house in Fallbrook that could house 14-16 families after renovations. Since it is zoned for agricultural, it could also be a tilapia and chicken farm to raise funds for Hope House. They want to open in a six weeks and wanted to brainstorm more resources for the project.

Club members had several ideas from the school district and local contacts that may assist Hope House. Check out the “Why this House Video” and the Hope House website to see how you can help this ministry.

As you may have noticed, the Blaines joined in for Safari day — by wearing the pith helmets with Prez Jen. Afterwards, one more photo was taken to support the Foundation for Senior Care.
