Rotarians provide bouncy balls to the kids and talk to parents about Rotary.

Our Rotary joined the annual Baseball Bash at Ignold’s Sports Park. Fallbrook Youth Baseball held the Baseball Bash 2022 to welcome back parents and meet the coaches. There were delicious food carts, fine sports clothing, laser tag, and two fun bouncy houses. On this beautiful sunny day in Fallbrook, many families came by to enjoy the bash.

At our table, Rotarians shared the message about “Service Above Self.” We handed out flyers, pens and business cards while some signed up to get more emails about our events!  Everyone learned about our fundraisers and how Rotary works to eradicate polio. One baseball mom came by to thank us for our military support with Halloween pumpkins and welcoming returning marines. (L-R Rotarians Don Weeks, Paula Shilts, Sherri Trombetta and Gordon Stone. The kids gave us the biggest smiles when they got bouncy balls. Boing! Those rubber balls were ricochetting all over the parking lot! The serious baseball players easily caught those bouncers.

Rotarian Paula enjoyed bringing the bouncy balls to the kiddos!

As a father and son listened, Rotarian Gordon discussed our Rotary's events in the community.

President Don provided a sponsorship to Fallbrook Youth Baseball’s President Amalfy Countreman. We were excited to learn from VP of Sponsorship Bryce Koleszar that the sports park now has ‘Perfect Game” providing events at the park. Perfect Game Tournaments provide the ultimate experience for travel ball teams around the nation. Play Ball!
