SOM Breakfast where excelling students received their medals

What an exciting morning for outstanding high school students! The Fallbrook Community attended to cheer them on! Don Weeks, supporting their achievements, attended to represent our Rotary — one of the sponsors for the event.

Christopher De La Cruz, who attends Ivy High School, plans to attend construction trade school. His nominating teacher Jaime Miramontes spoke how hard Christopher works for his excellent grades.

Nominated by teacher Adriana Lopez, Alexa Moya leads the dance team and has already earned a year's credits at Palomar. She plans to go to a four-year university to study child development.

Meadow Sander plays percussion in the ROTC band and was nominated by her teacher Cody Chavez. While she is an avid ruby player, she also enjoys environmental studies and wants to help our planet. Her second passion is aviation, and she plans to be pilot.

As a dancer since she was four-years-old, Susie Urrutia enjoys being on the Performance Dance Team. She was nominated by two teachers: Marin Pinnell and Anna Haskell. Her plans include a University so she can study biology and move onto medical school for orthopedics or sports medicine.

What an amazing group of hardworking students!
