Foundation for Senior Care representatives spoke at the club meeting about helping seniors in Fallbrook. The Foundation for Senior Care, a non-profit, charitable organization in Fallbrook established in 1979, is committed to providing services that help seniors maintain both physical and mental wellbeing, live independently as long as possible, and age with dignity.  They provide transportation, grocery delivery, referrals and support advocacy for a broad range of senior needs, hospital-to-home recovery support, community education focused on senior issues, and an Adult Day Care Center for adults with disabilities.  On any day, seniors who need help can get a ride to the doctor, borrow a much-needed wheelchair, receive assistance navigating medical paperwork, schedule a home safety assessment, or attend a workshop on online banking.  Their Adult Day Care Center is a trusted and safe place where guests can experience caregiving, companionship, and engaging activities – while at the same time their family and other caregivers can get some much-needed respite. Check out their website for more information and look them up on on Facebook.

The Foundation also provides vaccinations for adults 65 and older.
