Rotarian Steve Achard answers “Now and Ben” questions in a 3rd grade class.
Rotarian Achard worked with Scholastic Books and the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District Library to schedule class meetings to hand out “Now and Ben” Books to young students.
According to Library Technician Emily Larson, it is always a great time when Mr. Steve visits. She said that had some 4th grade students asked her later in the day, "Was that Mr. Steve? Did he come give the books to 3rd grade?”
"Now and Ben" is a fun book about Benjamin Franklin. On the first page, there was a sticker showing the book as a Rotary gift.
