Village Rotarians and guests enjoyed a visit with VMM 364 Purple Foxes on Tuesday, April 24. Our group was split in two with half enjoying time with Captain Harper and staff who provided a tour of their hanger, flightline and the high tech, tilt rotor MV-22B Osprey. The other group was escorted to the flight simulator where everyone did their best imitation of a Marine pilot. After an hour or so the groups traded places. Lunch at the mess hall followed and more Q and A for our hosts.
Thanks to Major Allisandratos, Captain Harper and staff for their kind hospitality in organizing and coordinating our visit. Rotarians Steve Achard and Karen Utley worked with our Marine hosts to help organize the event for our club.
